Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a bead burst and improve productivity by setting a rubber hardness of carcass cords to a specified value as well as terminating a carcass cord layer end part of a bead core side half way to the bead bottom center in the caption tires for buses etc. CONSTITUTION:When a carcass ply composed of minimum 4 sheets of a rubber- attached cord layer is wound around a bead core (a), the cord layer end (c) adjoined closest to the bead core (a) is positioned in a range from an inside upper end (d) of the bead core (a) to a bottom center part (e) of the bead core (a). And a rubber hardness of the rubber-attached cord layer is set to 50 deg.-70 deg.. Such a setting of the end position of the cord layer enables to ensure a gauge. And the setting of the rubber hardness in the range enables the improvement in an operation of a rubber milling, seating, and so on.
