Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic bias tire capable of improving durability performance without increasing the number of carcass sheets.SOLUTION: A pneumatic bias tire 1 includes a plurality of carcass layers 10a and 10b which are laminations of a plurality of carcass ply and respectively provided for a plurality of pairs of bead cores 3a and 3b. The pneumatic bias tire 1 includes a fiber-reinforced layer 100 extending between and adjacent certain carcass plies of the plurality of carcass plies. The fiber-reinforced layer 100 is provided at least from a position of 0.8 times the rim flange height to a position of 1.5 times the rim flange height. In a cross section in the tire meridian direction, one end on the outer side in the tire width direction in which the fiber-reinforced layer 100 extends is located on the inner side in the tire radial direction with respect to an end of a belt 8 outermost in the tire width direction on a belt constituting a belt layer. The other end is at a position on the front side of an end of the carcass ply adjacent to the fiber-reinforced layer 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
