Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sort solid waste in which various types of nonflammable waste of metal, glass, plastics, etc., are mixed, and especially to separate light waste such as film-shaped plastics from heavy waste.
SOLUTION: Solid waste is fed from an inlet 34 onto a mounting plate 35 having numbers of through holes, the plate 35 is oscillated by the oscillation of a machine body 32 oscillated by an oscillation motor 86. Besides, air is supplied from ducts 361, 371 connected respectively with air inlets 36, 37 formed in the side part and the lower part of the machine body 32. In this way, light plastic waste is floated from the plate 35 and blown off horizontally to be discharged from a light material discharge opening 33 outside the machine body 32, while heavy waste other than the plastics is led from the oscillating plate 35 to a heavy material discharge opening 39 to be discharged outside the machine body 32.
