In this pneumatic tire 10, a film inner liner 38A is adhered to inner liner rubber 35 of a main air chamber 26. Even if a pair of left and right partition wall parts 24 inflate to the main air chamber 26 side at the time of traveling in which internal pressure of the main air chamber 26 becomes zero and load is supported by internal pressure of first sub air chamber 28 and second sub air chamber 30 and wall surfaces 24A of the partition wall parts 24 are in contact with a tire inside surface 17A of the main air chamber 26 to support the load, friction between the wall surfaces 24A of the partition wall parts 24 and the tire inside surface 17A of the main air chamber 26 is reduced by the film inner liner 38A, and thereby deterioration of the inner liner rubber 35 of the main air chamber 26 due to heating and abrasion is suppressed. As a result, the early destruction of the second carcass ply 37 can be prevented to improve the tire durability.
