PURPOSE: To provide a pneumatic tire enabling to reduce its weight by the decrease in the amount of a tread rubber and simultaneously improve the abra sion resistance performance, low rolling performance and wet grip performance, and to provide a method for producing the same.
CONSTITUTION: An unvulcanized rubber composition A having a glass transition point in a temperature range of ≥-40°C is vulcanized to a semivulcanized state. The semivulcanized rubber composition A is mixed with an unvulcanized rubber composition B having a glass transition point in a temperature range of <-40°C in a weight distribution rate of ≤50% in a closed mixing machine. The mixed rubber composition A+B is processed into the tread part of a green tire, which is molded and vulcanized in a mold. The averaging of glass transition points between the matrix of the rubber composition B and the dispersion layer of the rubber composition A is prevented, and therefore plural peaks are related to the temperature dependence of a dissipation factor tan δ.
