Abstract:
To provide a polishing device that can bring the amount of polishing of the inner surface of a tread section to a near-uniform level over a tire axial direction.SOLUTION: A device for polishing pneumatic tires includes a holding section for holding a pneumatic tire T in a predetermined posture, and a roll brush 15 for polishing an inner surface T1 of a tread portion of the pneumatic tire T held by the holding section. The roll brush 15 rotates around an axial center 15j in the tire axis direction of the pneumatic tire T. The roll brush 15 includes a pair of brush ends 29 including both ends in the direction of the axial center 15j, and a brush center portion 30 between the brush ends 29. The circumferential stiffness of the brush ends 29 is smaller than that of the brush center portion 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
