To improve air permeation resistance without impairing peeling resistant force and fatigue crack resistance of toeguard and canvas chafer.
In this pneumatic tire provided with the toeguard, the toeguard is made of a rubber composition containing layered or planar inorganic filler. In this pneumatic tire provided with the canvas chafer, the canvas chafer is formed by coating the canvas with the rubber composition containing the layered or planar inorganic filler.
