Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the cost of formation as well as to improve the driving stability of a pneumatic tire easily.
CONSTITUTION: When a tire 11 is rotated, a lateral force Y is operated to fall down a side wall 14, and in this case, since a compression force is given to a reinforcing rubber layer 31 at the input side of the lateral force Y by this falling down, the reinforcing rubber layer 31 exercises a role of bridging so as to improve the lateral rigidity of the tire 11. In this case, since the reinforcing rubber layer 31 is repulsing against not a bending force but a compression force, it is unnecessary to use a rubber of a very high hardness, and the cost of formation of the pneumatic tire is reduced.
