PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire excellent in sound elimination performance and productivity.SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire production method comprises: a step for molding a raw rubber sheet formed by mixing 4, 4'-oxo-bis-benzene-sulfonyl-hydrazide or sodium bicarbonate as a heat decomposition foam agent, on a tire inner surface side of a tread part; and a step for curing the raw rubber sheet, and forming a sound-proof sponge whose inner foam ratio is 500-1000% expressed by the formula 1 [number 1] between a rim and an inner liner.
