To provide a pneumatic tire comprising a side reinforcing layer at a side wall part thereof, which can improve a structure of a bead part and reduce weight of the tire while maintaining good pinch-cut resistance.SOLUTION: A shape of an outer contour of a bead core 5 formed of common tangent lines in a plurality of circulating parts of a bead wire 5A in a meridian cross section is formed to have a single top point 51 outside in a tire radial direction, an inner angle θ1 formed by two sides sandwiching the top point 51 is formed into an acute angle. A carcass layer 4 is bent and folded back along a peripheral edge of the bead core 5 in each bead part 3 and a folded-back part 4B of the carcass layer 4 is extended from a position at an outer end in the tire radial direction of the bead core 5 toward each side wall part 2 while contacting the folded-back part 4B of the carcass layer 4 with a main body part 4A. A length Lx of a contact region between the main body part 4A and the folded-back part 4B is set to be 60% or more and 80% or less of total heights Lc of carcasses and an inclination angle θc with respect to a tire circumferential direction of a carcass cord 4c is set to be 55°-89°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
