Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tool improved in operability when switching normal rotation and reverse rotation.SOLUTION: An air motor 20 provided in a tool housing 30 has a first air supply-exhaust port 24 and a second air supply-exhaust port 25, is driven to reversely rotate by introducing compressed air from the first air supply-exhaust port 24, and is driven to normally rotate by introducing compressed air from the second air-supply-exhaust port 25. An operation sleeve 50 mounted to be displaceable in the direction of a longitudinal axis L in the tool housing 30 has switching flow passages 61-64 for selectively communicating an air supply port 34 with either the first air supply-exhaust port or the second air supply-exhaust port. The operation sleeve 50 displaces between a reverse rotation drive position in the direction of the longitudinal axis L of the tool housing 30 and a normal rotation drive position ahead of the reverse rotation drive position. At the reverse rotation drive position, the air supply port 34 is communicated with the first air supply-exhaust port 24 by the switching flow passages and the air motor 20 is reversely rotated. At the normal rotation drive position, the air supply port 34 is communicated with the second air supply-exhaust port 25 and the air motor is normally rotated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
