To transfer and dispose a mold, adjusted to the varying height of its transfer setting and thereby enhance the ease of operation by providing a free roller which mounts the mold onto a two-stage frame and rolls in the transfer-disposing direction and a mold stamping means, in a conveying device for transferring the mold between a mold storage shelf and a molding machine.

In the pneumatically lifting mold replacement conveying device with a mold mounting table 70 disposed inside a conveying truck 50, an air pad 54 is fixedly installed under leg parts 50a, 50b at the lower part of the conveying truck 50, which is pneumatically lifted and supported by ejecting compressed air supplied into the air pads 54 from numerous small holes. The mold mounting table 70 comprises two upper and lower frames 71 assembled in one piece and a mold push/pull device 75 to be operated during transferring/ disposing the mold 2 along the inner adjoining side of a free roller 73 and a lifting means which makes the device 75 ascend/descend. That is, the mold mounting table 70 is guided to ascend/descend along four square pillars 52 through eight sets of guide rollers 79. This lifting motion is carried out by winding a chain 80 with the help of a motor 82.
