To provide a point card system which gives points corresponding to a visit of a customer, who brings a point card and buys no article, to a store.

The point card system comprises a central data processing center 10, a plurality of point card terminals 20 which are connected to the central data processing center 10, and computers 40 of a plurality of sale promotion offices connected to a point server 11. A point card terminal 20 is equipped with a card reader writer and a store visit information input means, the point server 11 is equipped with a storage device 11DB having a 1st storage area where data for a 1st point corresponding to sales are stored and a 2nd storage area where data for a 2nd point corresponding to the frequency of a store visit are stored, and performs 2nd point imparting processing based upon store visit information from the point card terminal 20.
