To provide a point defect correction device capable of reliably correcting a point defect produced in a liquid crystal device.
The point defect correction device 100 is a point defect correction device for correcting the point defect of the liquid crystal device (correction object liquid crystal panel) 10a. The liquid crystal device 10a is prepared by sandwiching a liquid crystal layer between a pair of glass substrates. Therein, a camera 42 which photographs the point defect when the point defect is detected in the liquid crystal device 10a, a drill 40 for cutting the glass substrate 11 of the position where the point defect is produced, and a dispenser 41 which applies a light shielding material on the position where the glass substrate is cut by the drill 40 are disposed as an integrated device 49.
