Abstract:
To provide a pointing device capable of improving operability by correcting a movement direction of a cursor so as to match actual vertical and horizontal directions, even if a display screen is directed so that vertical and horizontal reference directions of the display screen differ from the actual vertical and horizontal directions.SOLUTION: A pointing device 1 includes: detection means 2 for detecting movement of the pointing device 1; correction means 3 for correcting the detection result of the detection means 2 by a predetermined angle with respect to vertical and horizontal movements of the pointing device 1; output means 6 for transmitting the signal corrected by the correction means 3 by wire or wireless and outputting it to a portable terminal 5; and switching means 7 for switching ON/OFF of the correction means 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
