To provide a polarized band-pass filter which has an attenuation pole on the low-pass side, or on the low-pass side and on the high-pass side of a pass band and which uses waveguides.

The polarized band-pass filter 1 is connected to waveguides 11, 12, 13, 14 in four steps, and also a first step waveguide 11 is jump-coupled to a fourth step waveguide 14 via an iris 15. The waveguides 11, 13, 14 function as resonators of a TE 101 mode, and the waveguide 12 functions as a resonator of a TE 102 mode. Thus, an electric field and a magnetic field generating inside the jump-coupled waveguides 11, 14 are reversed, and the coupling coefficient of the waveguides 11, 14 become negative. For this reason, the polarized band-pass filter 1 has the attenuation pole on the low-pass side, or on the low-pass side and on the high-pass side of the pass band.
