Abstract:
To provide a polarizer which is excellent in thin-and-light design and exhibits high polarization performance in a visible light area.
The polarizer has at least two layers of a coating layer 21 which includes a dichroic coloring matter (A) expressing the maximum absorption wavelength in the range of 550 to 650 nm and a coating layer 22 which includes a dichroic coloring matter (B) expressing the maximum absorption wavelength in the range of 450 to 550 nm.
