Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing lens that is excellent in impact resistance, appearance and eye strain, and has small variation of color tone or transparency during formation..SOLUTION: A polarizing lens for a sunglass is formed by laminating a transparent protective sheet via an adhesive layer to both surfaces of a polarizing film obtained by stretching and dyeing a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film with a dichroic organic dye; and injection molding transparent resin for a lens onto a curved polarizing lens processed in a spherical surface or an aspherical surface or onto a concave surface of the curved polarizing lens. In the polarizing lens for the sunglass, the polarizing film is stained by combined dichroic organic dyes so that dichroic ratio of the polarizing film is within a range from 5 to 14.SELECTED DRAWING: None
