Abstract:
Provided is a polarizing plate which has excellent durability even under severe heating environments. The polarizing plate according to the present invention includes a polarizing film having a thickness not more than 8 μm, and protection films disposed on both sides of the polarizing film, wherein the change amount ΔP of the polarization degree after being kept at 100°C for 60 hours in a condition where glass plates are stuck to both surface of the polarizing plate with adhesive layers therebetween is -1.0% to 0.0%, the change amount ΔP being expressed by formula: ΔP(%)=P60-P0 (in the formula, P0 represents the polarization degree before heating, and P60 represents the polarization degree after heated for 60 hours).
