To provide a polarizing plate with a retardation layer, which offers superior high-temperature durability.SOLUTION: A polarizing plate with a retardation layer according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a polarizing plate including a polarizer, a first adhesive layer, a retardation layer, and a second adhesive layer arranged in the described order, and is configured such that a storage modulus G'1 of the first adhesive layer at 80°C and a storage modulus G'2 of the second adhesive layer at 80°C satisfy conditions expressed as: G'1/G'2≤1 and G'1>-0.85×G'2+1.4×105.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
