Title:
POLE SUSPENSION STRUCTURE FOR SELF-SUPPORT CABLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3223083
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduce the strain received by a self-support cable when the cable is vibrated by a wind pressure.
SOLUTION: The cable core 4 and subsidiary wire 3 of a self-support cable 2 are separated from each other at part of the cable 2 and the wire 3 and core 4 are loosely tied to each other at points on both sides of a suspending point at which the subsidiary wire 3 is fixed to an electric pole 1 between the suspending point and the separating points P where the wire 3 and core 4 are separated from each other. It is preferable to put tubular protective members 6 having a prescribed length on the wire 3 on both sides of the suspending point and to loosely tie the wire 3 with the core 4 including the members 6.
