Abstract:
To provide a polypeptide adsorbing verotoxin, naturally unexisting and artificially saynthesized.
The polypeptide has at least an amino acid sequence comprising following 5 amino acid residues: Trp or Phe-His, Gln-Trp, Phe-Thr or Ser-TrP or Phe, and has bondability to verotoxin. The preferable verotoxin-adsorbiung polypeptide has one of (1) to (3) amino acid sequence: (1) Trp-His-Trp-Thr-Trp-Leu-Ser (sequence No.1); (2) Trp-Gln-Trp-Thr-Trp-Leu-Cys (sequence No.2); (3) Phe-Gln-Trp-Ser-Trp-Tyr-Thr (sequence No.3) each containing the above mentioned amino acid sequences comprising the 5 amino acid residues.
