Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing device capable of uniformly and homogeneously polishing a curved surface of, for example, a curve mirror and excellent in durability and productivity.
SOLUTION: Plural polishing shafts 2 are installed downward on an under surface of an axially rotating head 1, upper disks 21 and coil springs 3 are journalled to the polishing shafts 2, lower disks 21 are installed under the coil springs 3, plate springs 4 are tensioned by repelling to the coil springs 3 by striding over mutually opposed surfaces of the upper/lower disks, and abrasives 6 installed on the lower disks 22 polish a polishing object by smoothly rubbing while swinging along a curved surface of the polishing object 5.
