Abstract:
To provide a device that can efficiently polish a chevron side surface of an angle steel material by comparatively small force while moving in a longitudinal direction.SOLUTION: A polishing device 1 comprises a running body 2 and a main body 3 supported on the running body. The running body 2 comprises magnet wheels 11, 12 and 19 that are adsorbed on chevron side surfaces 53 and 54 respectively of an angle steel material 51, which can freely move in a longitudinal direction along the chevron side surfaces 53 and 54 by rolling the wheels. The main body 3 comprises a support frame 28 that is joined to the running body 2, at least one pair of rotary polishing brushes 23, 24, 25 and 26 which are supported by the support frame 28 so as to contact the chevron side surfaces 53 and 54 respectively, a driving device 27 that is supported by the support frame 28 and a transmission mechanism supported by the support frame 28 so that rotation of the driving device 27 can be transmitted to the brushes 23, 24, 25 and 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
