Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of polishing under a constantly uniform pressure even when the nose part of a rolling stock has a complicated 3-dimensional curve surface.SOLUTION: A polishing device 1 has: a polishing brush 32, 6-axis articulated robot (trace device) 11, 10, which keeps the polishing brush 32 arranged at the tip to move the polishing brush 32 by changing an attitude of the same; a pressure sensor 20 arranged between the polishing brush 32 and the trace device 10; and a controller 60, which, on the basis of signals of the pressure sensor 20, presses the polishing brush 32 under a constant pressure against a polishing object face of a top vehicle having a 3-dimensional curve surface and controls the trace device 10 to make movement in a constant direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
