Abstract:
To provide a polishing device which can facilitate polishing work of an outer peripheral surface of a crank pin.SOLUTION: A polishing device 1 includes: a base 20 which extends in a longitudinal direction as an axial direction of a crank pin 111; a polishing part 30 which is mounted on a lower side of the base 20 and has a flat polishing surface 30a extending along a longitudinal direction of the base 20; a drive part which drives the base 20 so that the polishing part 30 reciprocally vibrates in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the polishing part 30 and in a direction parallel to the polishing surface 30a; and first and second guide parts 40, 50 which are arranged at intervals with the polishing part 30 on a side of a direction in which the polishing part 30 vibrates on the base 20, and extend along the longitudinal direction of the polishing part 30. Guide surfaces 40a, 50a of the first and second guide parts 40, 50 guide the base 20 along an outer peripheral surface of the crank pin 111 in a state that the polishing surface 30a is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the crank pin 111 so that the longitudinal direction of the polishing part 30 coincides with the axial direction of the crank pin 111.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
