To provide a polyacetal resin composition capable of drastically improving the extrusion moldability in the melt mixing or melt kneading of a polyacetal resin and a thermoplastic resin other than polyacetal resin and/or a thermoplastic elastomer without causing remarkable lowering of mechanical properties and giving a molded article having excellent appearance free from visual defects such as warpage, sink mark and surface delamination and provide a method for producing the composition.
The polyacetal resin composition is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic polymer composition composed of (1) 1-99 pts.wt. of a polyacetal resin and (2) 99-1 pt.wt. of a thermoplastic resin other than polyacetal resin and/or a thermoplastic elastomer having at least one kind of functional group selected from hydroxyl group, carboxyl group, acid anhydride group and ester group with (B) 0.01-10 pts.wt. of a polyvalent metal alcoholate or polyvalent metal chelate of a ≥3-valent metal element.
