Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a polyacetal resin composition improved in hue stability to severe temperature conditions in extrusion molding by blending a polyacetal resin with respective specific amounts of a hindered phenolic antioxidant, a polyalkylene glycol and a fluorescent brightener.
CONSTITUTION: This composition is obtained by blending a polyacetal resin with 0.01-5wt.% hindered phenolic antioxidant {preferably tetrakis[methylene-3-(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propionate]methane, etc.}, 0.01-5wt.% polyalkylene glycol (preferably polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, etc., having 1500-25000 number-average molecular weight) and 0.1-100ppm fluorescent brightener [preferably 2,5-bis(5'-t-butylbenzoxazol-2'-yl)thiophene or 3-(4'-acetylaminophenyl)-7-acetylaminocoumarin, etc.].
