To obtain a carbon fiber fabric having less fluffs, also having a thin thickness and suitable for a use of an electrode material for a polymer electrolyte type fuel cell.
This oxidized fiber spun yarn is obtained by spinning the polyacrylonitrile-based oxidized fiber to a single yarn having 350-820 times/m number of first twists OA, then twisting the single yarn by the number of ply twists OB in a range expressed by the following formula (2) for weaving. The formula (2): 0.33<OB/OA<0.80. Th carbon fiber fabric is obtained by carbonizing the oxidized fiber spun yarn to obtain the fabric having 0.2-0.5mm thickness, ≤3 fluffs/cm number of fluffs at the surface, 390-910times/m number of the first twists, and satisfying the number of the ply twists CB within the range of the following formula (1). The formula (1): 0.33CB/CA<0.80.
