Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a novel polyamidebenzopyrrolone of a heat-resistant resin useful as a raw material for heat-resistant coating compound, having improved resistance to various kinds of solvents, by reacting an isobenzofuran derivative with a diamine.
CONSTITUTION: An isobenzofuran derivative[e.g., 3-benzylidene-5 carboxyl-1(3H)- isobenzofuranone, etc.]shown by the formulaI(Z is OH, halogenalkyloxy, aryloxy, etc.; R2 and R3 are monofunctional substituent group, e.g., lower alkyl, halogen, etc.; X is integer of 0W5; Y is integer of 0W3) is reacted with a diamine, e.g., hexamethylenediamine, etc. to give a polyamidebenzopyrrolone shown by the formula II (R1 is bifunctional organic group; n is integer of 3W300).
