Abstract:
To provide a polyarylate resin which enables abrasion resistance and sensitivity characteristics of a photosensitive layer of a photoreceptor to be improved when the polyarylate resin is contained in the photosensitive layer of the photoreceptor, and enables liquid life characteristics of coating liquid for a photosensitive layer to be improved when the polyarylate resin is contained in the coating liquid for the photosensitive layer, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor including the polyarylate resin.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor is provided, comprising a wholly aromatic polyarylate resin, a conductive base material and a photosensitive layer, wherein the photosensitive layer contains a charge generator, a hole transport agent and a binder resin, and the binder resin includes the polyarylate resin.SELECTED DRAWING: None
