Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a polycarbonate/polyvinyl butyral laminate generating no turbidity or glaze at the time of lamination or during long-term use at high temp.
CONSTITUTION: A laminate contains a two-layered structure consisting of a sheet of aromatic polycarbonate with a wt. average mol.wt. of 35,000 or more and a sheet of polyvinyl butyral plasticized by phthalic diester and can be utilized as safety glass or high impact laminated glass generating no turbidity.
