Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the melt flowability of a polycarbonate resin without detriment to its excellent characteristics and thus to obtain a polycarbonate resin compsn. improved in moldability by compounding a polycarbonate resin with a terpene resin.
CONSTITUTION: A polycarbonate resin is compounded with 1-10wt.% terpene resin. Here, the term 'terpene resin' means a terpene resin made from terpene compds. alone, an arom. terpene resin contg. units derived from arom. components, a terpene-phenol resin contg. units derived from phenol components, and their hydrogenation products.
