To provide a polycarbonate resin composition which can give moldings showing excellent moldability in injection molding, blow molding, extrusion molding, etc., and excellent surface appearance as well as excellent mechanical properties inherent in the polycarbonate resin.
This composition comprises 100 pts.wt. polycarbonate resin having a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of above 5,000 and 0.001-20 pts.wt. low-molecular-weight polycarbonate compound containing polyol residues derived by the removal of all of the hydroxyl groups from a polyol having 3-20 hydroxyl groups and having a weight-average molecular weight(Mw) of 5,000 or below. This is useful as a material for household electric appliances, optical instruments, automotive components, etc., and is of great industrial value.
