The polycarbonate resin is characterized in that a main repeating unit comprises a carbonate precursor (A) comprising a specific fluorobisphenol compound having a fluorene structure and a repeating unit (B) represented by formula (B) in a molar ratio (A/B) of 1/99 to 30/70. The optical molded article is obtained using the polycarbonate resin.
