Abstract:

To provide a polychloroprene-based latex remarkably reducing an emulsifier in the latex, and having improved stability, water resistance, adhesiveness, adhesion, etc.

The polychloroprene-based latex includes a hydrophilic group-containing water-insoluble polymer comprising a constituent derived from an acrylic monomer, and ≤3 wt.% of a conventional type emulsifier. Furthermore, a method for producing the latex is provided.
