PURPOSE: Polyester blow moldings that consist of polyethyelene terphthalate, a sulfonate salt derivative, diethylene glycol and a specific organic compound, thus preventing the whitening after being molded and having high transparency, antistatic property and impact strength and being suitably used as food vessels.
CONSTITUTION: To polyethylene terephthalate from terephthalic acid or its lower alkyl ester and ethylene glycol are incorporated (A) 0.01W5.0 wt% of an alkali metal alkylbenzenesulfonate, preferably sodium hexylbenzenesulfonte, (B) 2.0W4.5 mol% of diethylene glycol component based on the ethylene glycol, and (C) 0.01W 10 mol% of a compound of formula I (R is formula II, III or IV), such as 1,4- bis (hydroxyethoxy) benzene and the resulting composition is blown to form articles.
