Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film which has the surface excellent in smoothness and flatness, is handled excellently and is so suitable as a film for producing a resin film that deterioration such as curl and deflection is not caused to the flatness of the surface of the obtained resin film.SOLUTION: The polyester film for producing resin films has two or more layers. One surface layer (A1 layer) contains slip agent particles and the other surface layer (A2 layer) has 20.0 nm or smaller ten-point average roughness (Rz). The air leakage index of a sample, which is prepared by layering the polyester films on each other so that the A1 layer is superposed on the A2 layer, is 100,000 seconds or lower. The polyester film, which is heated at 150°C for 30 minutes, has 1.0% or lower shrinkage rate in the longitudinal direction of the film and 0.5% or lower shrinkage rate in the width direction of the film.
