Abstract:
To newly provide: a polyester film roll in which a surface of the polyester film has fine irregularities and which can suppress occurrence of scratches and the like, reduce losses due to raw material switching, make long-time continuous operation and make lengthening of the roll possible; and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a polyester film roll obtained by taking up a polyester film, where the polyester film contains organic particles with an average particle size of 0.05 to 0.4 μm and one surface (A) of the polyester film satisfies the following (1) to (3): (1) an average surface roughness (Sa) is 5 to 20nm; (2) a maximum peak height (Sp) is 310 nm or more; and (3) an average spacing (RSm) of the surface irregularities is 0.016 mm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
