Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester Kimono (a Japanese traditional costume with wide square sleeves worn with a sash), having excellent wearing comfortableness in spite of characteristics of shape stability or strength retention, possessed by polyester fibers and provided to the polyester Kimono by imparting high hygroscopicity thereto.
SOLUTION: This polyester Kimono comprises a woven fabric containing a polyester based filament yarn having ≥1% moisture desorbing and absorbing parameter ΔMR, is composed of a leno cloth structure such as a thin silk fabric with mesh lines or a plain gauze having <3kV frictional withstand voltage measured according to the JIS L 1094 method and has 0.1-10 denier single filament size, 30-300 denier total size and 2.5-7g/d yarn strength of at least either one of warp and weft yarns and 80-240cm3/cm2.sec air permeability and ≤2mm seam slippage of the woven fabric.
