Abstract:
To provide a polyester multifilament yarn which is not broken in an embroidering process, has good dimensional stability after an embroidered lace-finishing process and a dyeing process, and gives a lace substrate having a soft hand.
This polyester multifilament yarn for the embroidered lace substrate is characterized by having a fineness of ≤55 dtex, a single filament fineness of 3.0 to 7.0 dtex, an elongation breaking strength (E) of 45 to 75%, an initial tensile resistance degree () of 800 to 940 kg/mm2, a boiling water shrinkage factor of ≤5%, and a fuzz rate of ≤5 fuzzes/108 m in the filament.
