Abstract:
To provide a polyester polyol composition for optical use, with which a high refractive index material can be obtained which has excellent solvent solubility and glass transition temperature (Tg) in a range of actual use of a urethanized resin, wherein the polyester polyol composition is suitably used for urethanization easily and relatively at low cost without using a special material or using a special synthesis method.
The polyester polyol composition for optical use comprises a polycondensate of: a glycol component containing an alkylene oxide adduct of bisphenols; and an aromatic carboxylic acid component consisting mainly of a naphthalenedicarboxylic acid derivative and a phthalic acid derivative.
