Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester resin composition used for extrusion molding and injection molding which does not require a desiccation process that helps prevent a melt viscosity of the resin from decreasing caused by molecular weight reduction due to hydrolysis of the polyester resin.
SOLUTION: A polyester resin is added with a viscosity enhancer having a melt flow rate(MFR) of 20 g/10 min or below stipulated in JIS K 7,210 Table 1 Condition 4 and a polymerizing agent having a functional group reactive with the polyester resin wherein the quantity of the viscosity enhancer added is 3 pts.wt. or above based on 100 pts.wt. of the resin and the quantity of the polymerizing agent added is 1 pts.wt. or above, so that the melt viscosity can be increased.
