Title:
POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION WITH IMPROVED HEAT RESISTANCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3281584
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in both heat resistance and storage stability by including a specific high-molecular-weight aliphatic polyester and an antioxidant so as to result in specific viscosity holding index.
SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by compounding (A) a high- molecular-weight aliphatic polyester with a number-average molecular weight of ≥10,000 (pref. prepared from a 2-6C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid component and 2-4C aliphatic glycol component) with (B) 0.01-2.00 (pref. 0.05-1.00) pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A, of an antioxidant so as to result in ≥0.7 in the viscosity holding index shown by formula I [in the viscosity (poise) determined by a flow tester at 190°C, X is a value after 30 min, while Y after 5 min]. It is preferable that the mechanical strength retention of a film afforded by this composition shown by formula II [in the breaking strength (kgf/cm2) determined by the tensile test of the film, V is a value after 28 days, while W is the initial value] is ≥80%.
