Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain excellent processability, processing close adhesiveness with a metal panel and corrosion resistance by providing a specific copolyester film to the outer layer on the single surface of a metal panel and providing a specific copolyester film layer on the inner layer being in contact with the metal panel.

CONSTITUTION: A copolyester film layer with an m.p. of 215-250°C and a thickness (1A) of 8-100μm is provided to the outer layer on at least the single surface of a metal plate and a copolyester film layer with an m.p. of 170-215°C and a thickness (1B) of 1-20μm is provided on the inner layer being in contact with the metal panel. The thickness (1A) is larger than the thickness (1B). In this polyester laminated metal panel, the outer layer is melted by the heating at the time of lamination and the biaxial orientation residual amt. of the outer layer is set to 5-95%. When the biaxial orientation residual amt. is below 5%, corrosion resistance becomes inferior and, in a case exceeding 95%, the close adhesiveness with the metal panel becomes deficient to generate peeling when severe processing is received after can making.
