Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester resin mixture for electric insulation which is capable of being coated in a hot melt state and also of forming a paint film having excellent appearance and pinhole characteristics by uniformly mixing an oily enamel with a hydroxyl group-containing polyester resin.
CONSTITUTION: A hundred pts.wt. a polyester resin having cross-linkable hydroxyl groups on its side chains, containing, as needed, a phenol-aldehyde resin, melamine resin, etc., is mixed with 1W10pts.wt. an oily enamel, e.g., of copal, dammar, etc.
