PURPOSE: To obtain a curing catalyst-containing type polyester resin composition which is excellent in low-temperature baking properties and not only favorable in appearance of coating film and storage stability, but capable of providing low-cost coating film also excellent in corrosion resistance.
CONSTITUTION: This polyester resin composition for powder coating is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. of a polyester resin composed of an acid component consisting essentially of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid such as terephthalic acid or terephthalic acid and isophthalic acid and an alcohol component consisting of essentially of aliphatic diols such as ethylene glycol and neopentyl glycol, having a carboxylic group as a main terminal group and having 0.15-0.40 intrinsic viscosity, with 0.1-5 pts.wt. of triarylphosphine having a substituent group at o-position.
