Abstract:

To provide a polyethylene resin material having excellent long-life durability such as environmental stress cracking resistance (ESCR) as well as excellent moldability such as swell ratio and draw-down resistance and provide a hollow molded article made of the resin material.

The polyethylene resin material satisfies the requirements (a) to (d): (a) the density is 0.940-0.965 g/cm3, (b) the high-load melt flow rate (HLMFR) measured at 190°C under a load of 21.6 kgf is 4.0-10.0 g/10 min, (c) the swell ratio (HLMFR-SR) measured at 190°C under a load of 21.6 kgf satisfies the formula HLMFR-SR(%)>13.2-ln(HLMFR)+15.5, and (d) the strain hardening value in elongational viscosity measurement is ≤0.35.
