PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition having physical properties such as extremely excellent impact resistance, also excellent in the aspect of cost, and useful for pallets, etc., by dry-blending a polyethylene terephthalate resin molding material with a wax having a specific shape.
CONSTITUTION: This resin composition is produced by dry-blending (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polyethylene terephthalate resin molding material with (B) 0.05-5 pts.wt. of a granular wax having an average volume of 0.1-50cm3 and having a melting point of 40-100°C. Therein, the component A preferably comprises a vinylic polymer containing (i) a polyethylene terephthalate resin and (ii) 40-90wt.% of glass fibers (the average length Lμm and the concentration W of the glass fibers in this composition satisfy the equations I and II). The concentration of the fibers in the whole composition is preferably 1-25wt.%, and the weight ratio of the components (i):(ii) is preferably 97:(3-30). Further, the heating crystallization temperature and the melting temperature of the objective composition are preferably 140-200°C and 200-270°C, respectively.
