PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of water bubbles and stratified separation phenomenon by constructing a polyethylene resin composition, as the innermost layer, which contains 1-30 parts by weight of hydrotalcite group compound relative to 100 parts by weight of crosslinked-polyethylene.
CONSTITUTION: A polyethylene tube for transporting fluid such as water containing chlorine, e.g. city water, etc., is constructed as the whole or in the innermost layer thereof by a polyethylene resin composition containing 1-30 parts by weight of hydrotalcite group compound relative to 100 parts by weight of crosslinked-polyethylene crosslinked by high density polyethylene. The hydrotalcite group compositions are basic magnesium, aluminum, hydrooxicarbonate, etc., indicated by a general formula of Mg1-xAlx(OH)2(CO3)x/2.mH2O (0<x<1, 0<m<2). As a result, the occurrence of water bubbles and stratified separation phenomenon due to even hot water containing chlorine is quite unlikely to take place.
